Requirements
Passport
A valid passport with an expiration date of 6 months after the return date is required (March 2026).
The passport MUST BE BOOK (Not passport cards).
No visa is required to enter Bosnia-Herzegovina if you are a Mexican or American citizen.
Depending on your nationality and the countries you are travelling to, you may need a visa. Please check with the consulate of the country you are travelling to. Information can be found on the Internet.
Euros
It is recommended that you purchase Euros from your bank in the US/Mexico and come prepared with Euros in cash. Alternatively, you can exchange dollars for Euros in Medjugorje.
Suggestions
Bring comfortable clothing appropriate for the warm summer weather.
Hats or caps to protect yourself from the sun or umbrellas.
Hiking boots or sandals or tennis shoes with non-slip soles (we will be climbing rocky mountains).
Hiking stick (recommended for seniors).
Sun protection for outdoor activities.
Swimsuit to cool off in the waterfalls.
Water bottle to keep filling if you want to avoid buying them there.
Bring letters from family and friends to the Virgin
Objects to bless (or can be purchased there).
Dress modestly and decently for Holy Mass (no shorts or short skirts)
Small flashlight (or use your cell phone flash)
Small battery-operated radio with headphones to tune into the parish program in Spanish
Adapter for European electrical connections
Unlock your cell phone before your trip with your cell phone company so you can use a European card on your phone if you want to have service in Medjugorje
